I believe we offer the largest selection of perches and there is a reason for this. Choosing the correct perch is an individual decision as there are different situations
for each loft. Some choices will depend on space available, breed of pigeon, special needs and what the perch is made of. I do not believe it is a must to protect the
bird below as droppings do not stick to a healthy bird. The only time this may be a factor is when you have a pair that insists on having a nest in the corner on the
floor. Scraping the perches regularly is no big deal, but for someone like me, who has a lot of pigeons, I am always looking for a perch that cuts down on scraping.
I have used just about every design of perch and because I want to limit my perch scraping time my two favorites are the Space Saver Perch and the Block Perch.
For Racing Homers and Rollers, and they fill my needs. We suggest all perches be spaced 11"-12” from side to side and 11"-12” from above and below, with the

USA Perch
Made in the USA, this molded plastic
"V" perch is easy to install and easy
to remove. Because it is all heavy duty plastic, it is

Pre-drilled for easy installation. Nailed
and glued for lasting service. 5" high x

Wood V Perches
Easy to install, just nail or screw through the
back. Stack one on top of the other and the
lower bird is protected. All wood construction. Projects
4" and is 9 1/2" left to right. Made in Foy’s

Clip On V Perch
A unique click on and off system. Screw
the clip into position on the wall. The
perch may now be clicked into place
and if desired, clicked back on at any time. I find
them handy because I initially install the maximum
number of clips to the wall, and then, if the number of pigeons is
reduced, all I have to do is remove the perch only, the clip remains in
place. 5 ½” high and project out 4 ½”. Made in Foy’s own wood shop.

Clip on Block Perch
A simple idea that really works well. Attach
the clip to the wall and click the
perch on. Click on/off as needed. If you use nest
fronts and you close the door during the nonbreeding
season, attach a clip to the back of the
nest front door and when the door is closed, click
on the perch. Easy to install, just two screws. The perch is 6"
long, meaning you have a very small area to clean. 1" x 6" Long.

Make your own clip on perches; all you need is the

Space Saver Perch
Originally designed by a young Amish
boy who sent it to see if I would be interested
in selling them. Made with knot free poplar wood
for many years of use. I really like these and use them
in a number of my lofts, including the loft with my
white racing homers. Cuts down on perch scraping
to almost nothing. Space 10” to 12” apart, up and down and side
by side. ¾” X ¾” and projects out 6”. Made in Foy’s own work shop.

Euro V Perch
The Euro V Perch may be used
as a standard V perch. Attach
the bracket to the loft wall using 4 small
screws. Attach the perch clip to the end
of the wood, using the pre drilled 4 holes
and the four screws supplied with the
perch. Slip the perch into the wall clip
and you have a V perch that is secure
and will not move. The perch may also
used as a block perch, similar to our #1040 Block Perch. The wood
that the pigeons roost on is a solid piece of hard wood and will not
split or crack over time. The two sturdy plastic pieces that form the
V, are a top quality plastic, meant to stand up to years of use and
unaffected by extreme weather. The Perch measure 9 ½” between
the V and projects out 4 ½”. Easy to clean and protects the birds
perched below.

Foy's Heavy Duty Wood Perch
This perch, as with most of our wood
products, is made in our wood shop. The
idea for the perch came from John Raber, our
master carpenter. No plywood in the construction,
it is all yellow pine, and meant for years and
years of service. You may want to consider painting
them with a good gloss paint, which will make
it even easier to keep clean. Absolutely no knots and sanded for a fine
finish. The wood for the sides is 3/8” thick, 2 or 3 times thicker than
most other V perches. The wood where the bird perches is 2” wide
and 5 ½” front to back, lots of room for most all breeds. The back
brace and mounting bracket is of the same thickness as the sides
and includes two pre-drilled mounting holes. Made in Foy’s own wood

I have tested this perch in my loft, and I find it quite
satisfactory. Strong, durable and predrilled holes
