Pigeon Protector
There is no question that parasites will affect
the health and performance of birds.
This all natural enzyme product cleans away
mites, red mites, and the feather louse. Pigeon
bird bath also cleans away viral pathogens and is
extremely effective on the life cycle of parasite eggs, larvae and adult
parasites. Safe for all birds and farm animals and safe if the birds
drink the water. 2 cap fulls in 4 gallons of bath water. The Pigeon Protector
is a ready to us spray which is safe to spray directly on the bird.

Bug Spray
Many of our customers prefer an aerosol spray
to kill parasites on their birds. Kills flies, mosquitos,
small flying moths, gnats, cockroaches,
fleas, lice, cluster flies and more. O.50% Pyrethrins
and 4% Piperonyl. Spray inside the loft or chicken
coop, spray the bird by opening its wings and spreading the
tail. Keep out of the eyes. The oversized 18 ½ ounce aerosol can last
a very long time.

Poultry Protector Concentrate
Improves egg production and body weight by reducing
stress. Effective on cleaning away the eggs, larvae,
pupae and adult insects. Cleans away chicken mites
and other poultry insects. Also effective on ticks, midges
and beetles. May be used on birds, throughout the building
and on bedding. Non-Toxic, all natural. This product requires
dilution prior to use. Mix with warm fresh water. For a sever infestation
add 20 ounces to a gallon of water, Average infestation 15 ounces to
a gallon of water, and for a light infestation add 10 ounces to a gallon
of drinking water.

Poultry Protector Spray
This is a ready to use spray meant to be used on
cages or small areas as well as directly on your
birds. Cleans away mites, lice, fleas as well as their
eggs and pupae. Also effective on ticks, midges and beetles.

Scatt by Vetafarm
The Air Sac Mite lives in this air sac and can
cause your bird serious problems. It is a more
serious problem in any flying breed. Scatt takes
care of this mite as well as the scaly mite, which lives under
the skin, usually on their feet. They are blood suckers
and cause discomfort and foot problems. If the bird stamps their feet,
that’s the Scaly Mite. Part the feathers off the back and apply a few
drops to the skin. Will treat many birds. Complete directions on the
bottle.

Medications and supplements must be kept dry. Why not consider
installing a new or used medicine cabinet in the loft.
Do not keep pigeons and chickens in the same loft or section of
loft. On occasion a small hole appears in the shell. To save the

All three of the Scalex products

products and really do the job. The 1 oz.
bottles is small, but because you are only
using a few drops at a time, it goes a long
way. Effective against the feather louse
the chews the feathers off at the base and
leaves a bald spot, usually on the chest
or back of the head. Put a little on your fingertip wearing gloves, and
rub it on the bald spot. The products sinks into the skin, where the
louse is hiding, and kills it. The two sprays are also a natural organic
product. Kills feather lice and other insects. Spray under each wing
and around the rear vent. Safe to use on any warm blooded animal.

Secticide by Aviomed
This extremely safe and highly effective insecticide
spray also contains an insect
growth regulator that prevents insect larvae
from developing further. It has been specifically formulated
for use in pigeons and birds with a uniqe non-irritant
base that does not damage feathers but ensures maximal adherence
to feathers for a long residual action. Spray directly onto pigeons and
birds. May also be used in aviaries, perches and nests. Contains permethrin
1.25%, Piperonyl Butoxide 6.25 gr/L and Methoprene 20 mg/L.

Tobacco Stems
Build their nest or let them build their own
with these insect killing stems. Box
measures approximately 15"x14"x8". The
stems are imported and are the highest quality
available. Long and comparatively thin. Many
fanciers soak the stems they are going to use, in
water for an hour or so. After soaking to soften the stems, then form
them into a circle that fits in to their next bowl. They should cover the
bottom and part way up the side. Many pigeons are poor nest builders
and you sometimes have to help.

Parasite Dust
Controls the Northern Foul mites and other
bird parasites. The active ingredient is Permethrin.
Dust under the wings and the vent area. Safer
than many similar products. May be used in the nest
bowls and then cover with a nest pad.

Bug Strips
A strip used by hanging in the loft, will control
lice on pigeons. Also helps eliminate
flies, mosquitoes and gnats. Effective in a
10 x 10 x 10 area. Place under a pail to help control grain weevils.
We hang a couple in our feed room to prevent millers and gnats.
