WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday,<br />

February 1, 2018:<br />

Police notified the Water Department of a water main break on Aldrich Road. (1:08a)<br />

A caller reported a grey and white pitbull was running in and out of traffic by Silver Lake. A<br />

second caller reported the dog owner's took possession of the animal. (5:09am)<br />

A caller reported a vehicle followed her sister-in-law from East Boston to the Woodbriar<br />

Nursing Home on West Street. Police spoke with all parties involved. Driver was an<br />

insurance investigator. (12:25pm)<br />

Police issued 12 parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (2:21pm)<br />

Police cruiser was involved in a 2-vehicle crash at Glen Road and Brattle Street. No injuries<br />

reported. (2:39pm)<br />

Police responded to a burglar alarm at Santander Bank. A pipe burst and was pouring<br />

through the HVAC unit. Fire Department cut the water supply. Alarm company and key<br />

holder on scene. (8:40pm)<br />

Bartender at Red Heat Tavern reporting an intoxicated party was causing a disturbance and<br />

refused to leave via uber. His keys were taken away. Police returned party to station lobby<br />

to wait for a ride. Restaurant management allows party to keep car in lot overnight. (8:40pm)<br />
