Sentencing Williams-Clarke, Judge Turner said: "The only crumb of comfort in this
disgraceful situation is that there is no real 13-year-old child called Erica who has had to
look at three pictures of your penis.
"I'm not sure what you were thinking when you got in touch with this individual, who
appeared to be a child or what you thought you were doing when you sent her the pictures
you did.
"I have no doubt at all that that you did this for some sort of perverted and unacceptable
sexual pleasure.
"Internet Interceptors set themselves up to catch people like you online and confronted you
at your home address and footage was taken. It has been put on the internet and this has
now been put on Facebook in a group called 'Spotted in Clacton'.
"Your ex-wife and children have found out about this which has I'm sure caused
disappointment and distress to them.”
Williams-Clarke was handed a two-year community order, ordered to carry out 140 hours of
unpaid work and told to pay £300.
He was also given a sexual harm prevention order and ordered to sign the sex offenders
register for five years.

Billy Gardner and Wesley Mitchell
Gardner, 25, of Leston Close, Rainham and Mitchell, 39, of Savernake Road, Chelmsford,
were both sentenced for an ‘appalling’ attack, which left two men unconscious outside a bar.
The pair pleaded guilty to affray after punching and beating the two victims with chairs
outside Faces nightclub in Chelmsford City Centre last year.
One of the victims was the doorman at the bar.
Judge Christopher Morgan sentenced the duo to eight months in prison for the attack,
suspended for 18 months.
He said: “The officer in the case said in his 10 years on the force, he had never seen
anything like it.
“The fact that you have been under investigation and waiting for the matter to be resolved
since March and kept out of trouble and made efforts to address the problem is the reason
why I shall suspend your sentences.”
Both defendants were ordered to complete 300 hours of unpaid work.

The 54-year-old from Epping was handed a suspended sentence after sexually assaulting a
woman in a sports centre.
Wilcox, from, Epping had been found guilty by jury and was sentenced at Chelmsford Crown
Court on January 26.
He had been at the sports centre playing badminton before the incident when he
approached the victim, touched her on the wrist before placing his hand on the side of her
head while she was on the phone.
The woman then batted him aside in an attempt to stop him but he then approached from
behind and touched her breasts before moving his hands down to her groin.
