8.5 ESI Converter<br />
ECATVERIFY has an implemented XML parser which allows converting XML (ESI) device<br />
information into a native format and save it into the parameter file ECATDEVICE.PAR (to<br />
be placed in \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32). Therefor the XML files must be located in the<br />
dir<strong>ect</strong>ory where ECATVERIFY resides. The device which is to be converted may be<br />
searched within an XML file by its Name, Product Code, Vendor ID or Revision Number.<br />
Its also possible to convert the whole XML file to the native format. Devices which are<br />
already present in ECATDEVICE.PAR will be updated.<br />
