From a backpacker’s paradise only twenty years ago, Phuket has become<br />
a luxury island of hotels and private villas. One of the reasons for this is<br />
the island’s close proximity to Asian financial hubs like Singapore, and<br />
a convenient International Airport. Within the last ten years, the price of<br />
land has tripled, and still increases approximately 14% per annum. The<br />
