Die Berghäuser des Hotels Montafoner Hof sind um ein
Schmuckstück reicher: Seit Kurzem zählt auch das „Alte
Schulhaus“ mit einem beeindruckenden Rundum-Blick oberhalb
von Schruns dazu. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail sind die schönen
historischen Elemente des Hauses erhalten geblieben und wurden
mit modernem Wohnkomfort kombiniert. In den wunderbaren
Berghäusern, alle in eindrucksvoller Einzellage, können 5 bis 35
Personen erholsame Tage verbringen. Die Gäste können zudem
das Kulinarik-Paket des Hotels dazu buchen oder ein tolles Menü
aus der Zwei Gault Millau Hauben-Küche genießen.
The mountain lodges of the Montafoner Hof hotel have added
another jewel to their treasures: As of late, they now also count
the “Altes Schulhaus” (“Old School Building”) with its impressive
panorama view on top of the Schruns municipality among its
properties. The various elements of the house have been
preserved with much attention to detail and combined with
state-of-the-art living comfort. In the great lodges, all in single
location, 5 to 35 persons can spend many relaxing days here.
Guests can also book the hotel’s culinary package or enjoy a great
menu prepared by the establishment which was awarded with
two toques by Gault Millau.

Über dem Tal schweben | Floating above the valley
Das Priesteregg der Familie Oberlader bietet das weltweit einzige
Willy Bogner-Chalet, das in Zusammenarbeit mit der renommierten
Mode- und Lifestylemarke entstand. Highlight ist der 56 m 2
große und 14 Meter lange Edelstahl-Infinity-Pool. Dieser wird
mittels Biomasseheizung in der kalten Jahreszeit auf bis zu 34
Grad Celsius erwärmt und vermittelt durch seine Hanglage das
Gefühl, über dem Tal zu schweben.

Bogner chalet in the world, created in collaboration with the
renowned Bogner fashion and lifestyle brand. One
highlight is the 56 m 2 and 14-metre-long stainless-steel
infinity pool. During the colder months, it
is warmed up to a temperature of up to 34 degrees
Celsius by way of a biomass heating system and
conveys the feeling of floating above the valley as
a result of its hillside location.

Inmitten des Zirbenwaldes | Amid the arolla pine

Der Wiener Hotelier und Schauspieler Robert Hollmann kreierte
mit seiner Frau Petra neben seinen Projekten in Wien, Paris und
Triest sowie auf Sri Lanka im Vorjahr nun auch eines auf der
Turracher Höhe in Kärnten, wo er die Winter seiner Kindheit
verbrachte. Benannt sind die drei außergewöhnlichen und mit
alter Zimmermannskunst gefertigten Holzbauten mit Dorf-Charakter,
nach den 3 Hollmann-Kindern, Toni, Franzi und Luki.
Next to his projects in Vienna, Paris, Trieste and Sri Lanka, the
Viennese hotelier and actor Robert Hollmann, together with his
wife Petra, created a holiday destination last year in Turracher
Höhe in the province of Carinthia. This is where he spent many
winters during his childhood days. The three exceptional wooden
buildings, built in accordance with old carpenter’s traditions and
fitted with village-like charms, are named after the three
Hollmann children Toni, Franzi and Luki.

Der wahre Luxus beginnt hier bereits mit der klaren Luft, die einen
allabendlich tief und erholsam schlafen lässt. Bei der Ausstattung
der Chalets in Patergassen (Kärnten) wurde Wert auf eine
sinnvolle und verantwortungsvolle Bauweise aus Holz gelegt wie
etwa bei den gesteckten Betten ohne Metall mit einer eingefrästen
Lebensblume. Das Gasthaus Fellacher im Almdorf Seinerzeit
(im Bild) bekam kürzlich höhere Weihen und hat nun eine Gault
Millau-Haube, nicht zuletzt wegen der hervorragenden
Fisch-Spezialitäten.
Here, the luxury already begins with the crystal clear air, enabling
you a deep sleep and soothing nights. When it came to the
furnishing of the chalets in Patergassen (Carinthia), emphasis was
placed on a sensible and responsible construction method using
wood, such as the beds made without metal decorated with a
milled-in flower of life. The Gasthaus Fellacher inn at the Almdorf
Seinerzeit (pictured) recently received high honours and can now
call a Gault Millau toque award its own, not least because of the
excellent selection of seafood dishes.

AADLA CHALETS
Beeindruckende Bergkulisse | Impressive
mountain scenery
Michaela und Elmar Schwarzmann haben sich mit dem Bau der
Aadla Walser-Chalets am Arlberg ihren Traum erfüllt. Das kleine
Dorf im alpinen Baustil der Vorfahren besteht aus sieben Chalets
und wurde nach dem Mundartausdruck der Walser für Bergkiefer
benannt. Die großen Fenster, Balkone und Terrassen geben den
Blick auf das beeindruckende Bergpanorama frei.
Michaela and Elmar Schwarzmann have made their dream reality
with the construction of the Aadla Walser chalets at the Arlberg
mountain. The little village built in the alpine construction style of
their ancestors consists of seven chalets and was named after the
local slang for ‘mountain pine’ used by the speakers of Walser
German. The big windows, balconies and terraces are the perfect
stage from which to gaze at the impressive mountain panorama.
