On the occasion of the Austrian Presidency<br />

of the Council of the European Union, on<br />

Wednesday, 21 st November 2018, in the<br />

run-up to the BRAND [LIFE] AWARD of<br />

the EU BRAND TALK took place under the<br />

motto "Starke Marken braucht das Land".<br />

President Chancellor Sebastian<br />

Kurz emphasized in his video message<br />

the offensive location policy of the<br />

EUCouncil<br />

Fe deral Government: "For a successful<br />

business location, of course, it also needs strong<br />

brands that are known and successful all over the<br />

world, for Europe and especially for Austria, a country<br />

with 60% export quota."<br />

In his opening remarks, Novomatic CEO Harald<br />

Neumann pointed to the great importance of strong<br />

brands for the Austrian<br />
