Specifically in Guarulhos, what is the operation
carried out in the city, how many employees
are currently and what regions do they serve?
What are the main clients and works that are the
machines of XCMG in action?
Sam: The XCMG product lines are very ample, we work
in mining, agricultural, forestry, road, municipal infrastructure,
airports, ports, Olympic stages, thermal
energy, such as: construction in Recife and Northeast,
operations in the River Valley Doce, construction of the
BR-165 Highway, works at Odebrecht, operations at Petrobras,
among others.
Sam: In our Guarulhos unit we do the direct commercial
for some regions of Greater São Paulo, developing
and managing the resale network in Brazil,
exporting products to Latin America and after-sales
technical support and general support, including
the supply of spare parts. Currently we operate with
a team of about 40 employees in this unit.
What are the company’s expansion plans in
Brazil and is there any future XCMG project to
be implemented in Guarulhos?
Sam: In the future, XCMG’s Guarulhos unit will become
a service and logistic distribution center for
parts, services and technical support throughout
Latin America, exploiting as much as possible the
location differential through its logistical facility.
