The giant Guarulhos, global city
The importance of Guarulhos to the national scenario
is indisputable. Our city has a population larger than
several capitals and even than some states, we are the
largest population in Brazil excluding capital cities.
We have a diversified economy, strong and with great
potential for growth, we are crossed by three major
highways of the country, we shelter the largest airport
in South America and in addition, soon, the express train
will arrive in the city and the rodoanel norte is in ways to
be delivered.
Guarulhos is undergoing a transformation process, the
election of Mayor Guti in 2016, which received a significant
vote, more than 83% of the votes, demonstrated the city’s
desire for changes and a new format to manage it. The
current municipal government is focused on improving
the quality of public services, organizing municipal
public accounts and attracting new investments.
This edition of the City’s Book Guarulhos SP 2018 project
is the result of partnerships with the main companies of
the city, City Hall had no cost for the initiation and the
publication summarizes the potential of the city becoming
a business card of Guarulhos to the world. It is certainly
an important tool to publicize the county, attract visibility
and future investments.

A gigante Guarulhos, cidade global
A importância de Guarulhos para o cenário nacional é indiscutível.
Nossa cidade possui uma população maior do
que várias capitais e até do que alguns estados, somos a
maior população do Brasil excluindo as capitais.
Possuímos uma economia diversificada, pujante e com
grande potencial de crescimento, somos passagem de três
importantes rodovias do país, abrigamos o maior aeroporto
da América do Sul e além disso, em breve, o trem
expresso chegará à cidade e o rodoanel norte está em vias
de ser entregue.
Guarulhos passa por um momento de transformação, a
eleição do prefeito Guti em 2016, que recebeu uma expressiva
votação, mais de 83% dos votos, demonstrou o
anseio da cidade por mudanças e um novo formato para
administrá-la. O atual governo municipal está focado em
melhorar a qualidade dos serviços públicos, organizar as
contas públicas municipais e atrair novos investimentos.
Esta edição do projeto City’s Book Guarulhos SP 2018, é
fruto de parcerias com as principais empresas da cidade,
a iniciativa não teve custos à Prefeitura e a publicação resume
as potencialidades da cidade tornando-se um cartão
de visitas de Guarulhos para o mundo. Certamente é uma
importante ferramenta para divulgar o município, atrair
visibilidade e futuros investimentos.
