Mayor Guti’s suggestion is so that a second handle<br />
of access is constructed that makes possible a direct<br />
connection of Rodoanel with the city. This new route<br />
would be between Jardim São João and Haroldo<br />
Veloso neighborhoods. Another advantage is that it<br />
would not be necessary to go to the airports’ proximities<br />
to use the road. Márcio França explained that the<br />
works that are in progress were designed precisely to<br />
contemplate the transport traffic, mainly of cargo, to<br />
the airport.<br />
“We will study the best way to find an alternative<br />
that benefits <strong>Guarulhos</strong> and the entire region. It must<br />
be clarified that a bidding has already been made for<br />
the work in progress. Any adaptation must be a new<br />
work, without stopping the work that is already in<br />
progress, “said the vice governor.<br />
