UNINOVE’S MEDICINE SCHOOL
STARTS NEW CLASS IN GUARULHOS
Excellent professional training, in partnership with the public health system of
Guarulhos and decrease inequality of doctor-patient proportion by increasing the
number of openings are the main goals of Uninove’s medical school.
Since September 2017, 100
physicians began their training in
the state of São Paulo, in Guarulhos.
Guarulhos now has its
first medical course. The course
focuses on the training of general
practitioners.
The new Campus’ students
will carry out their professional
practice in the counties’ public
facilities. Each public facility will
have broad physical and pedagogical
infrastructure, comprised
by classrooms with didactic and
interactive equipment, physical
and digital library with access
to national and international
publications, auditoriums and
videoconference rooms, medical
practices laboratories and what is
most advanced in realistic simulation.
All this besides a qualified
and constantly updated faculty.
“The students will work in basic
care, urgency network and
emergency, psychosocial care,
specialized outpatient and hospital
care, among other public
health facilities in the county.
The insertion in these privileged
learning spaces will take place in
the first semester of the course”,
says Professor Dr. Renata Mahfuz
Daud Gallotti, director of Uninove’s
Medical course.
