Guarulhos partners with Microsoft
in the Education area.
Guarulhos’ City Hall, through the Secretary of
Education, Culture, Sports and Leisure (Secel), signed
in 2017 a partnership with Microsoft. The partnership
provided a great tool for the whole county, Microsoft
provided free of charge to all students of the Guarulhos
municipal education network, as well as to teachers, the
“Office 365 Education” software license.
The online platform will be available in “cloud”,
which allows integration of major Microsoft programs
such as Word, Excel, One Note, Form, among others, in
search of optimization from the preparation of the lesson
to the interaction between teachers and students.
Users will be able to access it from any computer. The
software global giant has developed 365 Education with
the aim of centralizing all its creations in one place,
and, also, making them become transformative actions
of society and technology in the area of education.
Guarulhos went through a series of evaluations to be
selected, and today it is the second city in the state to
receive the benefit, with the exception of the Capital.
