City's Book Guarulhos SP 2018-19

Another important trip was held in August 2017,
bound for the United States. At the time an intense
official schedule of meetings and business meetings had
been accomplished in Washington, with the goal of
attracting investments to the city of Guarulhos.
As in his trip to China, Guti and all representatives
of the municipal administration traveled with their
own resources, not burdening the public safes. The
comity also counted with the mayor of Mogi das Cruzes,
Marcus Melo, municipal secretaries and businessmen
of Guarulhos. The Brazilian embassy in Washington
organized the schedules. The trip has sought to strengthen
relationships with international funding agencies such
as IDB and World Bank. In addition, international
agencies were visited to promote economic and social
development for possible partnerships. Before arriving
in Washington, the comity made a stop in the city of
Dallas, Texas, to visit the facilities of American Airlines,
which began investments in Guarulhos.
All the meetings were recorded and transmitted by
social networks, where Guti has used to describe his
passage through these countries.
