greenhavens
network
Can you see a future without parks and gardens?
These green lungs are critical for wildlife and our
health and wellbeing. The Greenhavens Network is
ambitious and inspiring – and this is an exciting time
to get involved to help shape and influence
our future.
Greenhavens Network
is now around two years
old and needs expert
professional help to meet
its inspirational ambitions. The network consists of over
250 members that represent 92 community groups
and nine Forest Schools, all with an interest in our
green spaces stretching from Telscombe to Seaford.
We need someone to help us develop and implement
a fundraising plan so that we can reach out and
support the 92 community groups across our network.
We know we need to help our communities build
capacity and remain resilient in an ever changing,
diminishing resources climate.
We are all volunteers and don’t have office space. Our
supporters donate rooms for us to hold committee
and network meetings. Our network meetings are
quarterly and engage with active members and host
a diverse variety of related speakers to support the
network.
This is an opportunity for someone volunteering from
home, who wants to put something back into their
community, giving their expert time to help build the
capacity of the network itself. If you are interested in

Getting involved now will be an exciting time to help
shape and influence the journey we are on.
Experienced in developing a fundraising plan, we are
keen not to have a scatter gun approach but to work
systematically towards our goals – we realise this is a
marathon not a sprint.

project in a realistic time scale that suits all?
