St Andrew’s Church, Bishopstone<br />
SUMMER FÊTE<br />
Saturday 3rd <strong>August</strong>, 12 noon – 4pm<br />
This ever-popular, fun-for-all-the-family event will take<br />
place in Bishopstone (BN25 2UD), on the Village Green<br />
and in the Parish Hall. The traditional attractions will<br />
include a wide-ranging variety of stalls, a fun Dog Show,<br />
(registration from 12.15pm) Punch and Judy Shows<br />
(12.30pm and 2.45pm), face painting, and various<br />
activities for adults and children. Refreshments will be<br />
available all afternoon, and will include ice cream, hot<br />
sausage sizzlers and a beer tent on the green, with tea,<br />
coffee, cakes and sandwiches being served in the hall.<br />
Musical entertainment will be provided by a fairground<br />
organ, the PopUp Singers, <strong>Seaford</strong> Silver Band and organ<br />
recitals in the church.<br />
Bookings from small local independent craft-type<br />
businesses are currently being taken – £20 per pitch,<br />
you need to provide your own table and any other<br />
requirements. There is limited space so please book<br />
early. Any activities or stalls catering for the interests of<br />
younger children are especially welcome. Donations of<br />
books, toys, games, plants, craft materials, unwanted gifts<br />
and bric-a-brac (not electrical or heavy items, please)<br />
will be gratefully received prior to and on the day.<br />
All proceeds will be used for the on-going maintenance<br />
and mission of this much-loved parish church which will<br />
be open to visitors throughout the day. All enquiries to<br />
