A coffee morning hosted by President Kay Young in her
home was the first social event to be held in June.
Excellent coffee and home-made cakes provided by Kay
were enjoyed by all.
The annual
Service of
Dedication of
Inner Wheel
District 25
held at
Farnham
Methodist
Church with the Rally was held at Frensham
Pont Hotel, Churt. 15 Clubs were represented
celebrating 35 years of service by District 25. A
highlight of the service was the Inner Wheel Choir who
gave a first-class performance. Once again, a superb
lunch was enjoyed by members prior to the Rally where
Ann Acaster, President of the Association of Inner Wheel
Clubs of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, gave a very
thought-provoking, humorous and challenging address.
The regular meeting for members followed by the
Annual General Meeting in June witnessed the handover
of President Kay Young to Vice President Moira
Quinnell as President for 2019/2020.
Later in the month the Hydro
Hotel in Eastbourne was the
venue for a very enjoyable
afternoon tea in recognition of
President Kay Young’s year.
Valeria Franklin’s home was the
venue for a delicious summer
lunch at the end of the month. A sizeable sum was
raised for the Women and Girls Project.
