early birds
pre-school is
‘outstanding’
Manager, Vanessa Ayres, from Early Birds Pre-school
has reported that they are celebrating being rated
outstanding for the third time running in their recent
Ofsted Inspection. She says: ‘We are delighted that
all our hard work, dedication and passion for our
childdren has been recognised.’
The summary of the key findings in the report are:
‘The manager and staff have exceptional knowledge
of early years teaching combined with a shared vision
for excellence. Children make rapid progress in their
learning. The outside area has an array of activities to
choose from. All the natural resources and materials
are thoughtfully arranged with excellent attention to
detail.
‘Staff engage and highly motivate children with their
dedication and enthusiasm for teaching. The manager
and staff go way beyond expectations to provide
a positive learning environment for children. This
significantly contributes to children’s wellbeing and
their love of learning. Children’s safety and well-being
are given the highest priority. Senior staff continuously
evaluate all procedures to protect children from
protential risk.
‘The Pre-school promotes a totally “child-centred
environment”. All children, including those with special
educational needs and those who speak English as an
additional languarge, make excellent progress from
their starting points. Staff form strong partnerships
with parents. Parents feel well informed and comment
on how the manager and her staff are so helpful, kind
and caring, and how well their children are learning and
developing. One parent described the Pre-school as
“magical”.’
Staff, children, prarents and committee couldn’t be
more thrilled that Early Birds has been awarded
this amazing achievement. Early Birds has spaces for
September – please ring Vanessa on 07974 835978.
