disguised as a hipster
unleashing this new product
on unsuspecting bottled
water fans. In case you did
not see the TV series ‘Hugh’s
War on Plastic’ you have
guessed correctly that people
pronounced it delicious. Yes good old British tap
water cleverly packaged was what they were enjoying.
(A certain large drinks company tried that with
bottling mains water in Sidcup a few years ago if you
remember…) One of his other aims is to get water
bottle refills into petrol stations and motorway service

a difference in the War on Plastic. #Refillontheroad
is Hugh’s campaign with lorry drivers who are fed up
having to spend so much money on water and using so
many single-use plastic bottles.
On our stall at The Newhaven Fish
Festival on 15th June we were
delighted to speak to so many
families and youngsters who had
seen this programme and were
explaining to their parents and
us what they had learned in
school as well. Both our Chilly’s
bottle competitions were won by
primary school children so no photos this time. You
will just have to put up with a photo of George and
myself.
Remember that around the world a million plastic
bottles are bought every minute and this is still rising.
