The practice of services – managing <strong>and</strong><br />

organizing service production<br />

A growing portion of the economies of Western countries are attributed to the innovation, production, sales <strong>and</strong> purchase of<br />

services. At the same time, traditional production is reshaped <strong>and</strong> re-envisioned as ‘services’ in many companies. But services<br />

<strong>and</strong> service organizations are commonly said to be distinctly different from traditional industrial products <strong>and</strong> industrial<br />

companies. Considering this, what does the practice of service imply? How are these service organizations managed <strong>and</strong><br />

organized? This track includes papers across theoretical <strong>and</strong> empirical fields that investigates these questions.<br />
