Sierra College, Nevada County Campus
Sierra College/
Grass Valley
This community college is a resource
for the entire area. While some students
continue on to four-year institutions, others
earn degrees or certificates. There are a
variety of non-credit enrichment courses
available as well.
The campus is located off Sierra College
Drive not far from East Main Street.
Degree and certificate programs are
available locally and online, so area
residents don’t need to drive to the main
campus in Rocklin.

Community Education, known as
Kaleidoscope. With over 200 classes
available in Grass Valley, Rocklin and
Roseville, categories range from
computers and finance to gardening, the
outdoors, music, writing and photography.
Classes for older adults are available
through the Osher Lifelong Learning
Institute or OLLI. (see Page 140).
