Turkey Debuts A Symphony Orchestra Hall
The pandemic may have delayed travelling plans for many. Those eager to explore the marvels and culture of Turkey, rest assured
the country is waiting with open arms to welcome Malaysians, once crossing international borders is possible again. This time, a
new tourist attraction can be added to the list of “must-visits” - The Presidential Symphony Orchestra Hall. The much-anticipated
launch of this illustrious building kicked off with a grand gala event on 29 and 30 October 2020, coinciding with Turkey’s Republic
Day. Located in cosmopolitan capital Ankara, the state-of-the-art concert hall aims to become a new cultural hub for lovers of
music and fine arts. It will welcome world-renowned soprano, Angela Gheorghiu and well-known piano duo, twin sisters Güher

Feith In Footwear
Multi-label shoe boutique Feith continues to thrill fans with new
designs. It recently hosted an intimate event “Summer Delight”
to introduce the new Feith collection. Opened in Fahrenheit 88
Kuala Lumpur in December last year, the store is a purveyor of chic
and elegant footwear. The new collection encapsulates a luxurious
summer feel, featuring fresh new colours made with exquisite fabrics
and leathers. All of the shoes are handmade in Spain. Feith also
launched a new handbag range, all of which were handmade in
Italy. Present at the event were the store founders Soo Shea Pin and
Teh Wenfei, her daughter.
Pink Buddies’ Day Out
Every October, caring public members don pink ribbons in support
of Breast Cancer Awareness. On 3 October 2020, Pink Buddies’ Day
Out was held at the luxuriously trendy W Kuala Lumpur. This was
to celebrate the survivors and their buddies who were there by their
side. MODA (Malaysian Official Designers Association) initiated
this project together with Estée Lauder Companies Malaysia and
W Kuala Lumpur. Sixteen pairs with the most touching stories were
invited to W Kuala Lumpur for a day of pampering and celebration.
They were also introduced to Malaysian designers they were paired
with for clothes fitting. All dressed-up, the buddies were then invited
to a sumptuous high-tea at Woobar and introduced to members of
the media.
