GAME CHANGER
“Have a very open
mind and heart in
your approach towards
learning and always
remain humble”
The Year Ahead
“With the ongoing fight against the pandemic globally
still far from over, we are gearing ourselves to be
prepared for just about anything,” says Chang. “Hence,
we remain cautiously optimistic. As a company, we will
continue to produce good quality products and expand
the range of designs of our current bestsellers, variety
of our SKU (stock keeping unit) and introduce new
categories of products for our customers.”
Where growing Oxwhite is concerned, Chang
says: “As a business, we want to make sure that we
are growing healthily therefore we monitor our profit
margins closely. In terms of marketing, we are cautious
with where we spend our money and we cut back on
things that drive very low conversion rates and high
acquisition cost for us.”
What is he not cutting back on? “We want all our
customers to look good and feel good at a price point
that they can afford. In order for someone to look and
feel good, two things are key: quality and comfort. We
firmly believe that high quality products - material and
workmanship - and comfort can give one an instant
confidence lift to enable them to feel good. When you
feel good, you look good. Such is the DNA of our brand
and we will never cut back on these two key factors.”
What advice would he give to young people who
want to follow in his footsteps? “As an entrepreneur,
the willingness to learn is very important. There is
always an opportunity to learn within your circle.
There are a lot of people around you that could inspire
you or teach you. Have a very open mind and heart
in your approach towards learning and always remain
humble,” concludes Chang.
