Tropicana Corporation Berhad once again hit another
milestone by clinching multiple awards at the first-ever virtual
gala of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards which drew
property seekers, real estate agents, overseas developers and industry
stakeholders alike.
Tropicana Corporation Berhad received the title of Best
Developer, boosted by 10 wins including the coveted trophy of
Best Condo Development (Malaysia) for Tropicana Grandhill,
Best Landed Development (Central) for Tropicana Aman – Dalia
Residences, Best Hotel Development for Courtyard by Marriott,
Penang @ Tropicana 218 Macalister, Best Mixed Use Development
for Tropicana Gardens @ Tropicana Indah, Special Recognition
for ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and Special
Recognition for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Last but
not least, Tropicana was also received recognition for the following
categories, Best Mega Township Developer, Best Mega Township
Development for Tropicana Aman, Best Retail Development for
Tropicana Danga Cove – Oasis 3, Best Housing Architectural
Design for Tropicana Danga Cove – Ayera Residences.
Some 25 Malaysian companies took part in the virtual
celebrations with a total of 35 award categories given out to
outstanding builders of the country’s skylines. Prizes were given
out via remote video and the multi-streamed event was viewed
worldwide via their official website, YouTube and Facebook.
Mulan Movie
For Tropicana

Hollywood blockbuster Mulan is a must-watch for the entire
family, and a welcome respite from the pandemic. With its
themes of friendship and loyalty, it is also the perfect movie
to bring together friends and colleagues.
Staff from Tropicana Corporation Berhad (Tropicana) were
treated to a special screening of Mulan on 8 September 2020. The
movie was screened at MBO Cinemas in Tropicana Gardens Mall,
Kota Damansara , showcasing the latest and most advanced movie
experience and state of the art sound system.
Shown at 7pm (at Hall 1 and Onyx), the movie outing is part
of employee engagement to foster closer ties between co-workers
and also for them to experience the mall’s tenant facilities. To
make the experience sweeter, MBO offered special price to staff for
a medium popcorn and drink (mineral water or soft drink).
Overall, the staff response from Tropicana was overwhelming
and everyone had an enjoyable time. A sincere thank you to MBO
for sponsoring the movie.
