HEALTH & WELLNESS
In what ways are yoga and sound healing beneficial?
We are more of a healing space so people seek us out if they are having
stress and anxiety or they simply want more “me-time” or relaxation.
We offer yoga, sound healing and meditation, with some sessions even
getting you to journal your emotions so you know what’s really going
on within you. Many people have accessed different states of inner
peace, self-awareness or relaxation through our uniquely therapeutic
sessions.
Sometimes, people get a completely different perspective on
their lives from their own meditation, which can be very healing and
insightful. Our classes can help to calm and clear the mind, with some
sessions also focused on achieving better quality sleep at night, or tools
to release your daily stress.
In what ways are you considered a game changer in
your field?
We were one of the first studios in Malaysia to incorporate the power
of sound healing and combine them with yoga and meditation
sessions. We are very differentiated from gyms as we have such deeply
introspective and relaxing sessions because we are not only focused on
your physical fitness but also your mental and emotional wellbeing.
We are also non-religious so there is a universal sense of existing as a
safe space, where anyone can come to discover more about themselves
or to release what no longer serves them. So, people from all walks of
life find us.
What are your plans for 2021?
We are about to launch an online platform to help people with their
stress, anxiety and sleep issues. We are also rolling out masterclasses
and an online academy for one’s personal and spiritual growth and
overall wellbeing.
What advice would you give to young people who want
to follow in your footsteps?
Follow your heart and believe in what you put your energy into,
because energy is everything. Be authentic. Do what you love and love
what you do.
Can you provide tips on how we can improve our
wellbeing in these uncertain times?
Practice gratitude every day. Focus on what you have rather than what
you don’t have. Find ways to be more present whether it’s through
movement or meditation. Let go of the past because it robs you of
a present moment. Develop a morning regimen. How positively you
start your day, and with consistency, can change your life.
