Delray Under $50
Most Fun Small Town, Most Crazy Small Town, Most Small Town that Feels
Like a Big Town. Delray has it all. With a bustling downtown, Pineapple
Grove area, and little nooks and crannies in between, there’s more
to do in Delray now than ever, with events and happenings
spanning from daytime to nighttime. While it can
seem expensive at times, there’s a great
opportunity to enjoy all the City has to offer
without breaking the bank. Here’s what you can
do in Delray Beach in July for $50 or less.
All America Fest
Yes, it’s hot. We all know it. But we know to expect it because
we live in Florida, where every day is a good day to be outside.
National Play Outside Day is Saturday, July 1 and you’re
invited to join several hundred of your local neighbors to party
hardy outside. Kick off July 4th weekend with some rock and roll at
the All America Fest in The All America City, featuring the No. 1 Bon
Jovi cover band in the entire United States, “Living On A Bad Name.”
The talented musicians have mastered every nuance of Bon Jovi’s
sound, capturing the raw energy and spirit that made them one of
the greatest rock bands of all time. Held at the Old School Square
Amphitheater, you’re invited to bring your lawn chairs and enjoy
pure rock ‘n’ roll bliss under the stars! Held from 6 to 9 p.m. at 51 N.
Swinton Ave., this free event is open to everyone! Food and alcohol
vendors will be on site, so invite the friends and family and enjoy
a fun, playful night outside that’ll be a great kick-off to a fun-filled
holiday weekend. Please visit www.downtowndelraybeach.com or
4th of July Celebration
Land of the free because of the brave! After a weekend spent
celebrating the freedom we all know and love oh so much,
there’s only one thing left to do: continue the celebration.
Head to Downtown Delray for the 4th of July and celebrate with
everyone you know! Held Tuesday, July 4 from 5 to 9:30 p.m., the
family-friendly 4th of July Celebration is held on Atlantic Avenue
and A1A, which is the perfect backdrop for all the festivities. The
City has hosted the event for more than 50 years and this year’s
attendance is expected to reach 80,000 people. The event begins
with the 60’ flag raising ceremony with an honor guard and the
singing of the National Anthem, which is a sight to be seen. The
entire Celebration includes food-eating contests, food trucks and
vendors, children’s activities and games, non-stop entertainment
and so much more! The spectacular Zambelli Fireworks will start
promptly at 9 p.m. over the ocean, which is one of the best fireworks
displays in the area. It truly is a great way to celebrate our
independence by spending the holiday with thousands and thousands
of your local American friends. Please visit www.downtowndelraybeach.com
