Selecting the settings<br />

You can pre-select various basic settings<br />

for all applications of the Traffic Assist<br />

Pro.<br />

This calls up the setting menu for the<br />

The desired selection is chosen by pushing<br />

the desired button. The funtionality<br />

of the buttons varies according to the selection<br />

and is described under "The individual<br />

menu points" on page 74.<br />

The setting menu is closed by pushing<br />

the back button, and the main menu then<br />

appears.<br />

Energy<br />

Your Traffic Assist Pro may be operated<br />

using an external power supply unit or<br />

using an integrated rechargeable battery.<br />

Note:<br />

The current charge condition is particularly<br />

important when operating from<br />

batteries. If there is insufficient energy,<br />

then the navigational aid cannot be<br />

maintained until the destination is<br />

reached, for example.<br />

The energy supply and its condition is<br />

visualised using the status display.<br />

The status display can be called up using<br />

the following button.<br />
