SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS (CONTINUED):<br />

Storm Water Management Fund<br />

This fund is used to account for the city-wide storm water and non-storm water pollution<br />

prevention compliance work conducted and programs prepared to comply with regulations set<br />

forth by the current National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).<br />

HOME Fund<br />

This fund is used to account for federal funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and<br />

Urban Development to be used to develop and implement programs that expand the supply of<br />

affordable housing for low and very low income families.<br />

Child Care Grant Fund<br />

This fund is used to account for the Child Care grant program which provides after-school day<br />

care for the City’s residents.<br />

Used Oil Recycling Fund<br />

This fund is used to account for the California Integrated Waste Management Board Used Oil<br />

Block Grant. The program provides public education and convenient used oil collection sites.<br />

Traffic Congestion Relief Fund<br />

This fund is used to account for revenues and expenditures related to legally restricted funds<br />

obtained through grants from the State of California for traffic congestion relief.<br />

Storm Water Maintenance Fund<br />

This fund is used to ensure the safety and cleanliness of our City streets and the City’s<br />

maintained storm drain system by cleaning all catch basins, connector pipes and culverts on an<br />

annual basis and by providing emergency services, as needed.<br />

H.E.A.L. Fund<br />

This fund is used to account for the donation and use of funds received from Kaiser Foundation<br />

Health Plan, as required by donor.<br />

ASES Program Grants Fund<br />

This fund is used to account for the ASES program grants which provide after school education,<br />

after school safety and a food program that helps providers serve nutritious and safely prepared<br />

meals and snacks to children and adults in a day care setting.<br />

CFD #4M Fund<br />

This fund is used to account for the maintenance and administration costs of the detention basin<br />

within Centerpointe Business Park.<br />
