Adjust with the contrast control.<br />

Step 10 >> Attach the Spyder and<br />

check to see that it is set up correctly<br />

for your screen type.<br />

Step 13 >> Adjust the individual<br />

Red, Green and Blue controls to<br />

balance the screen color.<br />

Step 2 >> Now select the target color<br />

temperature and gamma from those<br />

listed in the drop-down menu.<br />

Step 5 >> Indicate which controls<br />

are present on the monitor.<br />

Step 8 >> Check that four separate<br />

black blocks can be seen in the scale.<br />

Adjust with the brightness control.<br />

Step 11 >> Attach the Spyder to the<br />

monitor ensuring no other light<br />

sources are refl ecting on screen.<br />

Step 14 >> Press the Continue<br />

button and let the Spyder read the<br />

color and tone swatches displayed.<br />

Step 3 >> Choose the Luminance<br />

mode between Visual (single screen)<br />

and Measured (multiple screens).<br />

Step 6 >> Return all settings to their<br />

factory default. Check with the<br />

monitor manual for instructions.<br />

Step 9 >> Choose the way that the<br />

monitor adjusts color from the three<br />

options listed.<br />

Step 12 >> <strong>The</strong> sensor will initialize<br />

and then several colors will be<br />

displayed and tested.<br />

Step 15 >> When the program is<br />

fi nished, save the new profi le.<br />
