Selecting option 2 (<strong>Volume</strong>) from the ISMF Primary Option Menu takes you to the <strong>Volume</strong> List<br />

Selection Menu panel, as follows:<br />

Selecting option 1 (DASD) displays the <strong>Volume</strong> Selection Entry Panel, shown in part (1) <strong>of</strong><br />

The volume application constructs a list <strong>of</strong> the type you choose in the <strong>Volume</strong> List Selection<br />

Menu. Use line operators to do tasks with an individual volume. These tasks include<br />

consolidating or recovering unused space, copying, backing up, and restoring volumes. TSO<br />

commands and CLISTs can also be line operators or list commands. You can save a copy <strong>of</strong><br />

a volume list and reuse it later. With the list <strong>of</strong> mountable optical volumes or mountable tape<br />

volumes, you can only browse the list.<br />
