The data set can be opened by any number <strong>of</strong> users for read and write request. VSAM does<br />

not ensure any data integrity. It is the responsibility <strong>of</strong> the users to maintain data integrity by<br />

using enqueue and dequeue macros. This setting does not allow any type <strong>of</strong> non-RLS access<br />

while the data set is open for RLS processing.<br />
