The BA has the task of controlling the dependencies between the<br />
different trades involved in the technical building equipment (TGA). It<br />
is in particular the facility management that requires the intersectional<br />
exchange of information and data in order to run the building<br />
or estates with optimum efficiency and economy. As field devices,<br />
pumps are to be seen as components indispensable for operations in<br />
the TGA that utilise high power consumption. Operational reliability<br />
and economic efficiency of pumps and pump systems are guaranteed<br />
to the greatest possible extent by central availability and monitoring<br />
of these pumps and pump systems.<br />
Due to the rapid technical advances made in the areas of electrical<br />
engineering / electronics, potential-free contacts and analogue unit<br />
signals are being successively superseded by bus systems.<br />
