7.2.3 Electonic connection

LX5000 March 2002
As described, the LX Remote should be connected to the LX5000 RS485-BUS. To do that, a free port on the digital
vario rear side (9 P female) should be used. If there are no free ports (other devices connected) it is necessary to
order a RS485 Splitting Unit to split one input into 3 outputs. Having done everything correct the LX-Remote will
be detected automatical by the LX5000 after this is switched on and activated.
