Settings for Selected<br />

Dimension<br />

In this group you find settings for individual dimensions.<br />

Suppress When Value Is NULL<br />

If this check box is enabled, the selected dimension in the Used Dimensions<br />

above will not be displayed in the chart if its value is NULL.<br />

Show All Values<br />

Enable this check box to show all the dimension values regardless of the selection.<br />

As the expression value is zero for excluded dimension values, the option<br />

Suppress Zero-Values in the Presentation page must be deselected for Show<br />

All Values to work.<br />

Show Legend<br />

When Show Legend is checked, the "names" of field values are shown along<br />

the x-axis.<br />

Label<br />

With the Label option checked, the name of the field is shown. Labels can be<br />

edited in the text box below. A label can also be defined as a calculated label<br />

expression, see Calculated Formula (page 851) for dynamic update of the<br />

label text. Click on the ... button to open the Edit Expression Dialog (page<br />

737) for easier editing of long formulas.<br />

Advanced...<br />

This button opens the Advanced Field Settings (page 496) dialog which<br />

offers settings for image representation of field values and special text search<br />

options.<br />

Comment<br />

A commentary field where the selected dimension can be described. The comment<br />

may be entered as a calculated formula. Click on the ... button toopen<br />

the Edit Expression Dialog (page 737).<br />

Page Breaks<br />

This setting only applies to the employment of page breaks in the printout<br />

from a pivot table or straight table. Three modes are available, with the following<br />

effects:<br />

No Breaks<br />

Will only insert page breaks at the end of each page, as required.<br />

Conditional Breaks<br />

Inserts a page break, unless all rows with the following dimension value can<br />

be fitted on the current page.<br />

Forced Breaks<br />

Inserts a page break whenever the dimension value changes<br />
