27.3.4 View<strong>in</strong>g SDI results<br />

SDI results to be delivered ONLINE can be viewed with the ACTIVATE command. The first SDI result of the above<br />

profile would have the name INLINE01/A, the counter be<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>cremented with every SDI run:<br />

=> ACT INLINE01/A<br />

Else the results are delivered automatically either by post, fax, or to the e-mail address and do not need to be<br />

viewed on-l<strong>in</strong>e.<br />

27.3.5 SDI EDIT<br />

A SDI profile can be edited with the SDI EDIT command. It is often easier to delete the old profile and issue a new<br />

one.<br />

To set up a SDI profile for a number of <strong>databases</strong> all the <strong>databases</strong> to be used have to be open first. Then SDI<br />

MFILE is entered and you are prompted first for the name and all properties of the SDI profile and then for the<br />

names and parameters of the search <strong>in</strong> each of the <strong>databases</strong>.
