This search is on applications of GPS (the Global Position<strong>in</strong>g System) on golf courses.<br />
28.2.1 Subject classification us<strong>in</strong>g Derwent Manual Codes<br />
The codes have to be found <strong>in</strong> the manual or from documents already known. The thesaurus may then be used onl<strong>in</strong>e<br />
and the search be performed us<strong>in</strong>g the E numbers created.<br />
Similar to a search by IPC codes or other classification systems the search by Derwent Manual Codes should be<br />
complemented by a keyword search as it is difficult to f<strong>in</strong>d classification codes for all possible applications. A pla<strong>in</strong><br />
keyword search may not be necessary if the subject field is sufficiently covered by Manual Codes but may be useful<br />
to check the result or to f<strong>in</strong>d additional codes.<br />
