NOVELTY - A juicer and grater assembly comprises an extractor hav<strong>in</strong>g at<br />
least one radially extend<strong>in</strong>g tab, and a stra<strong>in</strong>er hav<strong>in</strong>g at least a first<br />
aperture larger than a second aperture. The extractor is removably secured<br />
on the stra<strong>in</strong>er <strong>in</strong> two positions where the tab covers the first or second<br />
aperture for allow<strong>in</strong>g extracted juice to flow through the second or first<br />
aperture.<br />
DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A juicer and grater assembly comprises an<br />
extractor hav<strong>in</strong>g at least one radially extend<strong>in</strong>g tab, and a stra<strong>in</strong>er<br />
hav<strong>in</strong>g at least a first aperture and at least a second aperture. The first<br />
aperture is larger than the second aperture. The extractor (12) is<br />
removably secured on the stra<strong>in</strong>er <strong>in</strong> a first position where the tab covers<br />
the first aperture for allow<strong>in</strong>g extracted juice to flow through the second<br />
aperture, or <strong>in</strong> a second position where the tab covers the second aperture<br />
allow<strong>in</strong>g juice and pulp to flow through the first aperture.<br />
USE - For extract<strong>in</strong>g juice from cut citrus fruit and grat<strong>in</strong>g outer<br />
layer or sk<strong>in</strong> of citrus fruit.<br />
ADVANTAGE - The <strong>in</strong>vention provides both juice and juice with pulp<br />
when desired and a grater for grat<strong>in</strong>g the outer layer or sk<strong>in</strong> of citrus<br />
fruit.<br />
