7.4 WAN/User Port Specifications<br />

• 1 built-in serial port, configurable as user or link, supporting V.35/V.11, TIA-232<br />

(V.24), X.21, X.21 EU, TIA-449 (V.36) and TIA-530 interfaces<br />

• Maximum speed without compression: 6 Mbps (6144 Kbps)<br />

NOTE: For a port with INTERNAL clocking, if the port speed is configured<br />

higher than 2 Mbps (2048 Kbps), the clock speed will be 3 Mbps (3072<br />

Kbps) or 6 Mbps (6144 Kbps), whichever is closer to the configured<br />

speed. For EXTERNAL clocking all port speeds are supported.<br />

• Link port maximum speed with compression: 896 Kbps<br />

• HD-26 female connectors, gender and interface autodetect from custom HD-26<br />
