FENKER. The quarterback position on the
'Varsity has been one that has given the coaches
more concern than any other on the team. To
find a man that possessed all of the necessary
qualifications has indeed been a difficult task.
Clem filled the position as well if not better than
many of his predecessors. His kicking and running
Avith the ball were all that could be desired.
His interference for the other backs was exceptionally
good, his natural speed standing him in
good stead. In handling punts, Clem had quite a
lot of hard luck, but this was more than compensated
for bj' his splendid, at times brilliant, work
in the other departments of the game.
