The objects of this society are to promote llie arts and sciences
connected with engineering, and better fellowshij) among the engineering
students of the University. To this end tiie meetings include
the reading and discussifin of original and jirofessioiial
pajiers, and offer oiJiiortunities for iileasant, social relatioiishi|).
Students of the ujijier classes in the F^ngineering College arc
eligible for membership, and members retain their standing in the
society for two years after graduation, when the}' maj^ join the
national society, the American Societj^ of Mechanical F^ngineers.
