4 foot depth of precast manhole section with reinforced walls, top section,
manhole frame and cover, extension collars, manhole steps, vent piping, piping,
valves, access manway, pipeline marker post, and all other appurtenant work
not included under other bid items.
1.4.2. 90 Inch ID Manhole, Additional Depth. This unit price shall cover the
entire cost of each additional foot of vertical manhole depth in excess of 4 feet
including the cost for the precast section, excavation, backfill and the prorated
cost of manhole steps.
1.5. Blowoff Assemblies. The following blowoff assemblies and additional depth
shall be paid for at the unit price bid.
1.5.1. Blowoff Assembly. Each blowoff assembly shall be paid for at the unit
price bid and shall include all excavation and backfilling not paid for as trenching
for pipe, 8 foot depth of precast manhole sections with reinforced walls and base,
top section, manhole frame and cover, extension collars, manhole steps, piping
including additional cost for tangential tee, valves and valve boxes, pipeline
marker post, and all other appurtenant work not included under other bid items.
1.5.2. 4 Foot ID Manhole Additional Depth. This unit price shall cover the
entire cost of each additional foot of vertical manhole depth in excess of 8 feet,
including the cost for the precast section, excavation, backfill and the prorated
cost of manhole steps.
1.6. Buried Line Valve Assembly. Each buried line valve assembly shall be paid
for at the unit price bid and shall include all excavation and backfilling not paid for
as trenching for pipe, valve, valve box, jointing materials including gaskets and
flange bolts, megalugs, appurtenances, and all other appurtenant work not
included under other bid items.
1.7. Electrical and Communications. The following items shall be paid for at the
unit price.
1.7.1. 2 Inch PVC Conduit. The unit price bid for this item shall include the
2 inch conduit and additional trench excavation, bedding, and backfill not paid for
under other items and communication hand holes as specified. The conduit shall
be measured for payment horizontally along the longitudinal center line of the
enclosing conduit.
