i. Shall be defined only to "Use expected finish dates";<br />

ii. Scheduling progressed activities to be set to "Use only<br />

retained logic", not progress override option;<br />

iii. Critical Path activities defined as Total Float less than or<br />

equal to zero;<br />

iv. Calculating start-to-start lag from "early start" dates; and<br />

computing total float as "finish float = late finish – early<br />

finish";<br />

v. Calendar to be set for scheduling relationship lag as<br />

"Predecessor Activity Calendar".<br />

b. Activity progress shall be shown using Remaining Duration. Date<br />

format shall be DDMMYY.<br />

c. Default activity type shall be set to “"Independent Task".<br />

d. Date/time activity constraint(s), other than those required by<br />

the Contract, will not be allowed unless accepted by District<br />

Representative. Contractor shall identify proposed constraints and<br />

explain the constraint purpose in the Narrative Report.<br />

e. Lags shall not be used in the creation of an activity that will<br />

perform the same function, e.g., concrete cure time. Lag durations<br />

contained in the project schedule shall not have a negative value.<br />

Contractor shall identify any lag proposed and explain the purpose<br />

of the lag in the Narrative Report.<br />

f. Actual Start and Finish dates shall not be automatically updated by<br />

default mechanism that may be included in the CPM scheduling<br />

software system. Actual Start and Actual Finish dates on the<br />

CPM schedule shall be updated by actual work progression.<br />

19. ACTIVITY CODES. The Primavera (P6) activity codes and work breakdown<br />

structure (WBS) to be confirmed or revised by the District Representative are<br />

listed below. Confirmation or revision of the activity codes and WBS will be<br />

provided to the Contractor within three workdays of the Effective Date of the<br />

Agreement. Use of the District Representative prescribed activity codes and<br />

WBS is mandatory.<br />

"Project Codes" as defined by Primavera P6 is reserved for the District. Only<br />

"Activity Codes" at Project Level will be permitted for Contractor use.<br />
