REFIMID OF FEES<br />

Part of the fees may be refunded to students who withdraw within the first<br />

five weeks of the quarter . A separate circular, STmzNT FE= AND Dnrosrrs, gives<br />

information on refunds. This circular is available from the <strong>Registrar</strong>.<br />

FOR REDUCED PROGRAMS<br />

For the undergraduate student enrolled in less than three courses, the nonresident<br />

tuition fee is $168 per course or the proportionate part for a fractional<br />

course. For graduate students the tuition is $500 per quarter regardless of the<br />

number of courses undertaken. There is no reduction in Registration, Educational,<br />

Student Union or AS<strong>UCLA</strong> fees.<br />

Mr Fees<br />

Application fee, $20f . This nonrefundable fee is charged every undergraduate<br />

applicant for admission, readmission, or intercampus transfer to the University<br />

and every graduate applicant for admission and readmission to the University.<br />

Acceptance of admission fee, $50. For undergraduates only. The fee is nonrefundable,<br />

but is applied toward the University Registration Fee.<br />

Returned check collection, $5.<br />

Physical examination - second or late appointment , $4. Original appointment,<br />

or deferment arranged in advance, no fee.<br />

Late registration, $10. When permitted.<br />

Late filing of study (enrollment in classes ) list, $10 . When accepted.<br />

Duplicate registration and/or other cards in registration packet, $8 each<br />

petition.<br />

Change in study list after the first two weeks of instruction, $3 each petition.<br />

When dropping, substituting , or adding a course.<br />

Removal of grade E or 1, $5 each petition.<br />

Reinstatement fee, $10 . Reinstatement after a status lapsed.<br />

We filing of announcement of candidacy for the bachelor's degree, $3.<br />

Candidacy for Ph.D., Ed.D ., or Dr.P.H., $25.<br />

Special course Subject A, $45.<br />

Duplicate diploma , $20. Replacement cost upon presentation of evidence<br />

original is lost or destroyed.<br />

Late application for teaching assignment, $1.4%<br />

We return of athletic supplies, $ $1 for each 24 hours until full purchase price<br />

of article is reached.<br />

Failure to empty locker within specified time, $5.<br />

Transcript of Record, $1 each.<br />

Master's thesis and doctoral dissertation filing fee, $50. For the graduate student<br />

who is not registered and who has completed all formal requirements for<br />

the degree except the filing of a thesis or dissertation and/or the completion of a<br />

formal final examination.<br />
