Motion Pictures /Television. The M.F.A. in<br />

moti on pictures or television can be taken in<br />

either film making, television production or<br />

writing. There is a minimum residence of<br />

two years. A program of about 18 courses<br />

must be arranged with a graduate adviser.<br />

1. Film Making. The base of this program<br />

is a B.A. with successful completion of the<br />

animation sequence (181A-181B-181C) or<br />

Film Projects 1 and 2 (179A- 179B). Course<br />

work is intended to provide an opportunity<br />

to generalize upon the experience of the<br />

undergraduate proj ects, and to experiment<br />

further before embarking on the final film<br />
