Es el Pinot Noir más ambicioso de esta viña que lleva el nombre del valle
de Leyda. Proveniente de un viñedo de 3 hectáreas con exposición nororiente,
de suelos arcillosos y un perfil de limo y piedras, muestra el lado más fresco de
la variedad, regalando frutos rojos, dulces y concentrados, pero además mucha
chispa y vitalidad. Es un vino que rehúye del sol para encarar el viento.
The most ambitious Pinot Noir of this winery named after the valley. Sourced from
a 3-hectare vineyard facing the north-east with clay soil and a profile of loam and
rock, this wine displays the fresher side of this variety, with sweet yet concentrated
red fruit and a lively personality. A wine that shuns the sun to face the wind.
Montes Outer Limits Pinot Noir 2012
Nacido en los viñedos de Zapallar (Catapilco, me gusta más), este Pinot Noir
explora nuevos límites para desarrollar una personalidad única y atrevida. Alejándose
del exceso de madurez de sus primeras cosechas, cuando las parras aún eran unas
imberbes, ya luce mayor firmeza y entretenidas capas aromáticas. Es un vino goloso,
pero que crece año a año, mostrándose cada vez más fresco y equilibrado.
This Pinot Noir from vineyards in Zapallar (Catapilco, I’d rather say) explores new limits
to develop a unique and daring personality. Leaving behind the excess ripeness of
its early vintages when the vines were still in their teens, this Pinot Noir now boasts
greater strength and delightful aromatic layers. A rich wine that improves every year,
and gains in freshness and balance.
