SummaryThe present study has for objective the definition of an outstanding distribution proposal ofthe territory´s activities for the basin of San Pablo Lake through a special analysis of itspotentialities and physical limitations. Therefore a classification in several matters wasperformed specially in: soil classification, the activity of the floor, water resource,conjugating it with the legal requirements that in territorial management is to be apply inthe hydrographic basin.Are defined three homogeneous areas in the proposal of the organization for the basinwhich are: a) protected areas, include the most fragile areas ecologically wise, with poorsoil no able for agricultural activity; b)areas of sustainable use, to this category correspondthe areas holding capable floors for agricultural cattlemen and forest activities; and c) areasof urban expansion, includes the definition of the areas that are not affected by imminentnatural risks.This way the ordination proposal becomes a visual and technical instrument and thatsupports the integral and harmonic development of the territory for the hydrographic basinthrough the preparation of the space for a more appropriate use of the resources.6
