Overedge foot
* When using Overedge foot, make sure to set the stitch
width at 5 or more; otherwise the needle may hit the
overedge foot.
This stitch is ideal for 1/4” (0.6 cm) seams on knits or on
medium to heavy weight woven fabrics where you want a
narrow seam. It is also great for sewing spandex swim
wear. Place the fabric under the presser foot [A] so that the
stitches are made over the raw edge.
Place the middle of the elastic under the center of the
presser foot [A] and stitch into place, making sure the
elastic is evenly distributed.
