5.6 Operate the Home Media Gallery<br />

With Home Media Gallery, you can enjoy digital content such as movies, music, and photo files on your high-end<br />

flat panel TV. Play content from files stored on one or more media servers connected by a home or local area<br />

n<strong>et</strong>work (LAN) or those stored on a USB flash drive. After connecting via a broadband router or an Ethern<strong>et</strong> hub<br />

to a media server with n<strong>et</strong>work software, navigate through the digital content visible on the Home Media Gallery.<br />

The flat panel TV supports Mass Storage Class and PTP <strong>de</strong>vices through USB interface and DLNA-compatible<br />

<strong>de</strong>vices through a n<strong>et</strong>work.<br />

DLNA CERTIFIED Audio/Vi<strong>de</strong>o/Image Player<br />

This unit complies with the DLNA N<strong>et</strong>worked Device Interoperability Gui<strong>de</strong>lines - expan<strong>de</strong>d: October 2006 (v1.5).<br />

When a PC running DLNA server software or other DLNA-compatible <strong>de</strong>vice is connected to this player, some<br />

s<strong>et</strong>ting changes of software or other <strong>de</strong>vices may be required. Please refer to the operating instructions for the<br />

software or <strong>de</strong>vice for more information.<br />

Supported File Formats<br />

The following sections show supported file formats that can be played back or displayed on the flat panel TV. These<br />

formats are applicable to n<strong>et</strong>work sources. Most are also applicable to USB sources. However, media server<br />

content protected by digital rights management such as WMDRM10 (Windows Media Digital Rights<br />

Management 10), may not play on the panel.<br />

Note: Even the supported format files that are listed above may or may not play properly or compl<strong>et</strong>ely, <strong>de</strong>pending<br />

on the media server, USB <strong>de</strong>vice, bit rate stream and other content characteristics, as well as other factors.<br />
