12. (1) Subject to the condition under which any publicrecord is made avaible or is deposited in the NationalArchives, public archives shall be made available to thepublic for the purpose of reference or research, inaccordance with any regulations made under this Act.(2) No public officer shall make available to thepublic for the purpose of reference or research any publicrecords, except in the course of his official duties.Acces of public to publicarchives.As amended Act A 85dated 10.9.71.13. Any copy of a public record or public archives which iscertified by the Director as a true copy of the originaldocument shall be admissible in a court of law.Certified copy of publicrecords.14. (1) The Directory may from time to time subject tosuch conditions as he may specify delegate any of hispowers under this Act; any such person to whom thosepowers are delegated may exercise those powers in thesame manner ans with the same effect as if they had beenconferred on him by this Act.(2) Every person purporting to act pursuant to anydelegation under this section shall in the absence of proofto the contrary, be presumed to be acting in accordancewith the terms of this delegation.(3) Any delegation under this section may be made toa person or class of persons by name of office.(4) Every delegation under this section may berevoked by the Director at any time, and such delegationshall not prevent the Director from exercising the powersdelegated,Delegation of Director’spowers.90
