4.4.5 SETTING AND RECALL OF PRESETSThe minidome THERA 5 stores up to 128 pan, tilt and zoom configurations (called presets), therefore thesepositions can be recalled at any moment.NoteWhen storing presets, consider that some positions are reserved and can neither be stored nor used to setthe dome position.‣Numbers from 51 to 63 and from 78 to 101 are reserved for management commands. The following examples show how to configure the free presets and recall them.Example of preset number 32 configuration1. Move the dome to a desired pan, tilt and zoom configuration.2. Enter the command PRESET + 32 + ENTERFrom this moment, to move the dome to the preset position, enter the command CALL + 32 + ENTERNoteA new setting operation on the same preset will delete the previously stored value.Preset values are stored in a non-volatile memory area of the dome where they are kept also when the domeis not powered. Factory default restore operation deletes all the stored presets.Notice: angular coordinates are stored in the Preset values. After long use of pan and tilt commands, thealignment between mechanical parts and angular coordinates can be lost. This causes little positioningerrors when a preset position is reached. In this case, perform an angular coordinates system calibrationusing the command {DOME RESET}. This calibration is the same performed at dome power-up.4.5 OPERATION MODES SETTING VIA THE MENUAccess the operation modes setting menu with the following command, entered with the keypad Ref.1092/620.CALL + 90 + ONNow the display shows the following screen of the menu first level.THERA 5> 1 Language English2 Dome Information3 Display Options4 Control Options5 Diagnostic Options6 Camera Options7 Function ProgrammingIRIS CLOSE to ExitTo scroll the menu, select with the arrow buttons the desired menu item and use the command OPEN toaccess the selected second level menu.To go back to the previous menu level select the command CLOSE.To quit the menu of any level, select the command CLOSE.DS1092-090 63
